The purpose to add Alexa & Google Rank Widget on your blog is to monitor your blog popularity and improvement, like traffic and keywords. This is also a great way to show your blog ranking to advertiser. Many advertiser will interested to your blog traffic if they see you have a good ranking through this widget. They will send you a proposal to add their banner or link. And that is one of way to monetize your blog.

Google PageRank Widget.
1. Go to prchecker, and enter your blog url on green box. Click check PR button.
2. Enter anti-bot code, and click verify now button.
3. Now, you can see your google pagerank. If you want to add it, click on click here text.
4. Enter again anti-bot code, and click on generate now button.
5. They will give you 3 different size widget, pick one you like, copy the code and paste on html gadget on blogger layout.
