Twitter is one of the most powerful social networking right now. For webmaster/blogger it’s a good tool for marketing, networking, back link, or just to meet new friends. Adding twitter on your blog is a must. Either it’s a image button that redirect to your twitter profile or a widget. With twitter widget, your tweets will stream on your blog and your visitor can tweet you direct from your blog. It’s pretty cool right?.

1. Log in to your twitter account.
2. Go to Setting, choose Widgets, and click the Create Widget button.
3. From pic below, twitter let you choose what stream you want to display. Your timeline, favorites, list or search. The username will add automatically. Insert height of the widget you want, the width will adjust with your sidebar size. Choose light if you have light background, dark if you have dark background. Choose your link color by adding html color code. Now click Create Widget.
4. Now you can see the code on the bottom of the page. Copy that code.
As for wordpress, the steps is similar. You just go to widgets section, it’s under Appearance on Dashboard, and pick Text widget. Copy & paste the code you get from twitter, and put wherever you want it.
Now, when someone on your page and have question for you, they can tweet you instantly.
