[Blender 3D] Inverse Kinematic and Subdivide Bone.

The opposite version of Forward Kinematic is Inverse Kinematic. In this post we will learn about IK and how to subdivide a existing bone. If you read my previous post, I’m sure you now know how to add bone and apply rigging on it.

Open our last practice file, and to active Inverse Kinematic you just need to check Auto IK box on option.

[Blender 3D] Understanding Bone and Rigging Function.

Finally, we’re on the bone and rigging part. I’m gonna be honest, I’m not often working on 3d animation stuff, I’m all about modeling :), but I really want to make this blender 3d tutorial to give beginner understanding the basic of bone rigging function. I probably will miss some of the tool, so if you catch anything or want to add something just let me know.

On this learning session, we will use a simple 3d text that later we will add bone so it can be flexible and bent as you like. The bone we make have to place inside the text object. This blender 3d tutorial about bone & rigging will split in 2 or 3 article which we also will learn a feature called Lattice and Volume Light. Hopefully after reading this series you can create a more live object.

First learning, let’s make a Z letter from cube object. Change Y dimension to 15.

[Blender 3D] Physics Cloth and Glow Material.

From our last article, we have learned to create a magic ball and a simple cloth. For the cloth part, I think it will cool if we add a quick animation where the cloth fall down to magic ball. In blender 3d, we call it Physics Cloth. It’s easy and it’s fun to play with.

On second part of this article, we will try make our magic ball glow using Halo lighting.

Let’s get to it, shall we?.

Open your magic ball and cloth file, and active the plane object. Choose Physics icon and click on Cloth button. This command make your plane object become a cloth.

[Blender 3D] Simple Magic Lamp and Cloth.

Looks who’s back, back again :). Hello guys, do you miss me?. I’ve been taking some time off from this blog and visiting family. But, I’m back again with a new blender 3d tutorial. Yayyyy… From my last article I show you how to create a magic wand with a star on the top of it. In this post we will make a simple magic lamp cloth. The process only using some of basic object with Checker Deselect feature.

Okay, let’s just begin…

Add a Cylinder object and resize its height like this:
