Easy Fire Smoke Effect Tutorial [Blender 3D].

After created the ashtray and cigarette, now I’m gonna try to add some fire smoke effect on cigarette object. Finger cross it’ll give the result we want hahaha. You can create this cool effect in manual or automatic method. To save us a headache we will use the automatic method :).

Open your cigarette blender file, and create a cylinder. This cylinder object will be the source of our fire and smoke. Place it to the end of randomize vertex area.

Get to Know Randomize Vertex Feature [Blender 3D].

As an extension from the previous article, Cutting Object (Ashtray) Face Using Knife Project Tool, in this tutorial we will learning about randomize vertex feature that later will apply on cigarette object. The process to create cigarette in blender 3d is quite easy, so you should have no problem following my instruction even though it’s not an step by step tutorial.

Cutting Object (Ashtray) Face Using Knife Project Tool in Blender 3D.

One of the tool that blender 3d beginner user want to know at their early age learning blender is how to cut or make a hole/void on an object. Hopefully this cutting knife project article can answer your problem. This method is quite familiar with boolean modifier. The different is knife project only apply on face object. You later can add solidify or extrude the face, and add bevel to make any sharp part a little bit blunt.

For this practice we will create a cigarette ashtray. By the way, before we start this article course, take a look at my previous post about create a brushed metal material.

Now, on to the main topic. Create a new blender file, name it, and save as on your hard drive. After that create a Cylinder object and right away set its parameter like below:

Apply Basic Brush Metal Material in Blender 3D.

In this Easter weekend, I try to spend time to write this short blender tutorial. This article will show beginner user how to apply a brush metal material on spike mace object. Here’s the links of my 2 previous tutorial:

Open the new blender file or you can use the exist file that have spike mace object.

To have a realistic smooth and bright background, go to world editor, choose white background or any color you want, and check the Ambient Occlusion box.
