From our last article, we have learned to create a magic ball and a simple cloth. For the cloth part, I think it will cool if we add a quick animation where the cloth fall down to magic ball. In blender 3d, we call it Physics Cloth. It’s easy and it’s fun to play with.
On second part of this article, we will try make our magic ball glow using Halo lighting.
Let’s get to it, shall we?.
Open your magic ball and cloth file, and active the plane object. Choose Physics icon and click on Cloth button. This command make your plane object become a cloth.

Yayyyy… From my last article I show you how to create a magic wand with a star on the top of it. In this post we will make a simple magic lamp cloth. The process only using some of basic object with Checker Deselect feature.

Add a Cylinder object and resize its height like this:
To create a star magic wand we can use a bezier curve like what we learn before. But, did you know that Blender 3d itself have a hidden add-on that actually can create a star automatically. To active the add-on, go to File —> User Preferences, click add-on tab, and on left sidebar active Add Mesh. Don’t forget to click Save User Settings button.
